Great workshops in Rio coming up

Maracatu Brasil, the music studio in Rio that runs workshops every January, has these 3 scheduled for this year:

Durval Pereira, northeast rhythms, Jan. 14-18tth, 8 to 10pm daily
Marcos Suzano, pandeiro, Jan 21-25, 8 to 10pm daily
Andrezao, pagode, Jan 28 to Feb 1, 4 to 6pm daily

Suzano's incredible, of course. I can also HIGHLY recommend Durval Pereira, especially if you've got any interest in zabumba. He just rips on it. Sweetest guy, too.

I don't know anything about Andrezao, but Maracatu Brasil generally lines up very good people for these workshops.

200 reais per workshop. (i.e. for a full week).
